1. Information we collect
Burnish is operated by Omvium LLC.
- Account and contact data, such as your email address or phone number and an internal user identifier.
- Audio you upload, file names, rendered masters, analysis results, quality reports, and job status.
- Purchase and subscription records. Stripe handles card and bank details, and Burnish does not store your full payment card number.
- Operational data such as IP address, device and browser information, request timing, errors, security events, and usage counts.
- Messages you send through waitlist, support, or contact forms.
2. How we use information
We use this information to authenticate you, analyze and master your audio, deliver files and reports, process payments, enforce usage limits, answer support requests, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and improve the reliability and safety of Burnish.
3. Audio retention
Uploaded source files, rendered masters, and related session objects are scheduled for deletion 30 days after upload. Job records are also configured with a 30-day expiration. Temporary processing copies and provider caches may take additional time to cycle out of underlying systems.
Download anything you want to keep before the retention period ends. You may also contact us to request earlier deletion, subject to records we must retain for security, payment, or legal reasons.
4. Service providers
Burnish uses providers that process data on our behalf:
- Cloudflare for application delivery, compute, storage, queues, databases, and security.
- Modal for audio analysis and processing compute.
- Stripe for checkout, subscriptions, billing, refunds, and fraud prevention.
- Twilio for phone and email verification and account access.
- Axiom for operational logs and service monitoring.
These providers handle information under their own terms and privacy notices. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
5. Sale and advertising
Burnish does not sell personal information for money. Burnish does not use uploaded audio for targeted advertising. The service does not currently use third-party advertising cookies.
6. Security
We use access controls, signed authentication tokens, encrypted network connections, scoped storage paths, and service-provider security controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
7. Your choices and rights
You can manage billing through the Stripe customer portal. You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, or object to certain processing, by contacting us. We will verify requests and respond as required by applicable law. Some records may be retained for fraud prevention, accounting, disputes, or legal compliance.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as Burnish changes. We will post the new effective date on this page. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to brian@five6.com.
